The Elephant Cafe, nestled in Trading Boundaries, Sheffield Green, is a haven for food lovers and music enthusiasts alike. Reviewers consistently praise its vibrant atmosphere and warm hospitality. Customers like Nick Bryan commend the intimate venue, making it ideal for concerts while offering a good bar to unwind before or after the show.
While prices may be on the higher side—Gary Jelks notes £7 for a sandwich—the quality of the food justifies the cost. The menu boasts a variety of fresh options and delectable cakes, with careful attention to dietary needs, featuring clear labels for gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan dishes. This thoughtful approach is echoed by Lee, who appreciates the clear menu specifications catering to food intolerances.
Visitors like Lesley Hubbard highlight the exceptional dining experience paired with engaging live music, transforming an ordinary meal into a memorable occasion. The relaxing atmosphere is enhanced by the charming decor, including unique furnishings and a Roger Dean gallery; it's a feast for both the palate and the eyes. Paul Fairlight sums it up perfectly, calling The Elephant Cafe "one of my favourites." It's a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in fantastic food while enjoying live performances.

Great small venue. Saw Stillmarillion and now looking forward to going back. Good atmosphere, not too big, good bar and fantastic staff. Had standing tickets which gave a good view but curious to try the menu as well.

Very tasty food but a bit pricey, 7 for a sandwich. Plenty of choice from the menu and of the fresh cakes. Lots of tables and the service is good Food is all prepared fresh so a wait is likely especially during busy periods. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Will go back.

Wonderful! We attended a concert with dining. As a concert venue it is intimate with a true feeling of being involved. The food is very good and everyone is so welcoming and pleased to see you. They have amazing items of furnishings, pictures, jewellery and lots more on sale in their shop and a Roger Dean gallery with his amazing paintings and prints. Wonderful!

Outstanding venue. Fantastic food at a fair price. Lots of original and interesting items in the shop, worth a visit just for the shop. Live music and often Jazz on Sunday with lunch. Very chilled. One of my favourites.

Food is amazing! And the portion sizes are good for their price. The menu specifies gf, veg, vegan etc and is very helpful if you have intolerances such as gluten. The tables are mot crowded together and the atmosphere is relaxing. Wonderful staff too!

A relaxing place, great tasting food but a bit pricey. Friendly staff and a shop to go by and maybe purchase some home items.
